Fourth of July - Huzzah! (Day 2)

A slightly delayed Day two report for all my readers (hi Mum, hi Luke - did I miss anyone? :D).

Unfortunately the delayed effects of jet lag caught up with me yesterday morning and my well meaning plans to get to the grounds in time to watch Iroquois v Japan were disrupted by my plan to have a 'little lie down' first.

Several hours later.... but at least the nap was nice.

So Iroquois 27 Japan 9. From what I have heard from chatting with some of the Iroquios members and supporters the Japanese are very keen, very fearless and unfortunately very smaller then the other players. They to their credit played a hard physical game and unfortunately suffered a bit against the much larger Iroquois players.

Since at this moment in time my transport to the Canada Iroquois game is waiting for me downstairs and there is no net access at the grounds I am going to cut this short.

Next post will cover yesterdays USA 21 Aust 7 game as well as today's Canada Iroquois and Australia England games.

And maybe photos :D
